| Does anybody use xanga anymore? I don't think so... It's 4 in the morning and I can't sleep! Matt & I are buying a new howwwse!!!! I'm so excited it's driving me crazy. Maybe after we've lived there a couple of months I'll finally be able to relax and get some sleep. It's a really cute house... small but cute... it has swirly ceilings ... a huge tree in the back... and best of all, it will be ours... no more upstairs neighbors.
We're going to Honduras towards the end of October; another reason I'm too excited too sleep.
I'm a true blue coffee addict now; I'm so excited! I've tried all my life but never liked it. I guess that's what too many late nights and early mornings will do for you. Sugar Browns, Daybreak, & Starbucks - get ready for some new income... I'm officially a grownup coffee drinker! I want to start my own coffee shop... if I ever get brave enough to. Pray for my brother Daniel... he's going to Iraq again and I won't get to see him before he leaves this time.
I wish Matt would let me get a puppy.
Oh yeah! Somebody stole my bike!!!!! If you're reading this, you thief, give it back!
Does anybody want a pink velvety sofa? I have one I'll give to you for free... it looks like it should be from Napoleon Dynamite.
I miss my mom... and the crocodile hunter... and of course Johnny (he'll be upset if I forget to mention him)
*sigh, I'm finally getting tired.

| Well, it's been a while since I've updated. There's a lot to update on! Right now we're visiting home sweet home East Texas. We've been here since Thursday and we're going home tomorrow. )c: We've had a GrEaT time and I'm really sad to go home. Johnny and I have gone "fish watching" almost every nite until 3 am. If you want to know what that means, you can ask Johnny. I'm so tired because I haven't wanted to waste any time sleeping. We've been busy visiting family, friends, and church. Matt's MawMaw and PawPaw gave us some duck eggs to take to Matt's brother (he wanted to hatch them in his incubator), so we took them to church with us because we were going to his house afterwards. We had to take them inside so they wouldn't get too hot. Well somebody stole the duck eggs and put them in the secretary's work room. Matt was in such a tizzy trying to find them. It was so funny telling everybody that we were trying to find our lost duck eggs. I'm just glad we found them, it would have been sad to tell his brother we lost his 20 future ducklings. Anyways, we've had a good time and I'm going to cry and cry tomorrow when we leave.
As far as Lubbock (bunch of cotton farmers, Tech students, and prarie dogs), Matty has a second job now, working at the church as a website coordinator. He enjoys it and his newfound fellow employees very much. I'm fixing to quit at Fuddruckers to take a receptionist position at a company called CoNetrix. And that's about it.

| I can't believe April is already almost over! Time seems to be flying by right now, I guess because I've been so busy working. I really miss home this time of year! My next to last college class of my degree is quickly coming to an end... woo hoo! I have a lot to do to finish up my project, so I'm trying to pull all that together. I don't think I mentioned yet that Matt got a second job working as a website coordinator at FBC. He'll be working about 23 hours a week there and 20 at Bates-Wells. That ought to keep him plenty busy! I've been on to him to do some of his own artwork, but he won't have much time for that for a while. Well, that's it... this is for you, Johnny (c: | | |
| Title and words from an Afters song, "Love will make you beautiful." Christ's love is what will make a Christian beautiful and appealing to those who are lost. If we could learn how to let them see Christ's love instead of our selfish hearts. Today at church, Easter Sunday, right after the college service was out, we were saying hi to someone as we were fixing to walk out of our pew. An elderly lady came up to me, at first I thought to say, "good morning" or, "hello". But what she said was, "I sit here." I stood there dumbfounded, not sure if I understood, so I politely said, "I'm sorry, what did you say?" Looking at me and frowning, she repeated, "I sit here." Then I understood that she wanted me to get out of her way because that's the pew she sits in every Sunday. I was so shocked, I just moved out of her way and walked out of the auditorium. I watched her when I walked away to see if maybe she was a little bit slow, but she wasn't, she was perfectly normal. I wasn't angry at her because I felt I had just as much right to be there as she... I wasn't angry at all, just stunned. What if I had been a lost person that only came to church on Easter? What if I had come to church just to see what Christians were all about? What if I had come to see if Christians were really what they claimed to be? What if I had needed her to show me God's love? The face of Christianity has become somber, frowning, and selfish. We all need a makeover!!! Let's allow Christ's love permeate our whole being; body, heart, mind, and soul. He gave it all so we could do exactly that! We can change the face of Christianity... He's already given us the power, we just need to utilize it effectively. I believe we can do it. God bless y'all, Happy Happy Easter!! | | |
| Today is one of the windiest days I've ever experienced in my life! It kinda reminds me of the wizard of oz...The sky is dark from all the dust in the air. I recommend wearing safety glasses to go outside, or you'll get gravel stuck in your eyeballs, which can be very uncomfortable at times (c: So I finally got a job... at Fuddruckers as a cashier. It was very awkward the first few days but I'm getting used to it. My fellow employees are not the friendliest to start out with, but I think they'll soften up eventually. Yesterday there was another new girl and she gave my manager the finger on her first day! I'm not the best with etiquette, I can't even spell it, but I don't think that would be a good idea for your first day. Anyways, so I guess that's all I miss you all and East Texas like crazy! Go check out Matty's new website... it's cool!
